I had the opportunity to design a dinosaur scanner for the indie game Ferocious, a device used to control dinosaurs.
In the early phase, I approached the design as a piece of advanced technology, even though it was still in development. I wanted it to feel hi-tech, but not fully finished - something that looks modern, yet clearly reads as a prototype through its materials, textures, and small design details.
Although the scanner ended up looking more “homemade” in the final game, I genuinely enjoyed the process of designing it and exploring this early, experimental version of the device.
